10-Day Beginner Archery Camp
Course Structure
- Duration: 10 consecutive days with 90 minute sessions per day (15 hours total).
- Curriculum: Covers fundamentals including stance, nocking, drawing, anchoring, and release at 5 to 10 meter distances.
- Batch Size: Group training with 15 to 25 participants per batch.
- Timings: Typically evening slots (4:00 PM to 5:30 PM).
Equipment Provided
- Bow Type: Indian Round Bows (Wooden riser with bamboo or fiberglass limbs). Note that these are traditional bows without sights.
- Arrows & Gear: Wooden or bamboo arrows, arm guards, and finger tabs provided for use during sessions.
Venue & Certification
- Environment: Open air paved area or semi covered range (Non AC).
- Age Limit: Open to anyone aged 6 years and above.
- Final Day: Includes balloon bursting games, scoring matches, and a certificate of completion.

What You’ll Do
- We start with beginner archery lessons. No stress if you’re clueless about bows or arrows.
- You’ll learn everything from basic grip to Indian round bow training.
- Safety comes first - I walk you through all the archery safety tips for children and adults.
- Expect drills that boost your strength, control, and focus.
- It’s not all serious - we toss in games like balloon popping and team archery competition to keep things lively.
What’s Included
- All equipment and safety gear provided.
- Coaching (that’s me, shouting "ठीक है, एक और मारो!" - Okay, shoot one more!).
- Certificate when you finish.
Camp Details
- 10 days, mostly in the evenings (timings might shift on weekends).
- One rest day a week so you don’t burn out.
I keep it simple: just show up ready to have fun and try something new.

We’re Swatantraveer Savarkar Archery Academy. Archery isn’t just hitting bullseyes for us – it’s about learning patience, discipline, and focus, whether you’re 6 or 60. Our coach Swwapniil still learns from the best, like Sergio Pagni. We’re a community, not just a training place. Dussehra here means Shastra Pooja, blessing our bows. The real joy?
