Dynamic Group Reformer Pilates in Hauz Khas
Small batches, big results. Join our high-energy reformer sessions where we focus on precision, posture, and that satisfying post-workout burn.
A glimpse into our Wednesday burn session. Here, clients are performing a lunge variation with a dowel for added balance and shoulder stability, creating a full-body workout on the reformer.
Magic happens when you're consistent. This clip shows the variety in a single group session, from core work with a stability ball to coordinated leg presses on the reformer.
Listen for the cues: "Thoda upar aaoge." I guide my clients through every rep, like this leg lift, to ensure they feel the burn in the right places and perfect their form for maximum results.
Precision and control are key. This video shows clients focusing on negative control during a reformer exercise, slowly resisting the springs to build eccentric muscle strength.
This is a full-body movement that combines strength, balance, and mobility. Clients use the reformer box for a challenging leg series that targets the glutes and quads.
We strive for perfection in every movement. Here, clients are performing a kneeling leg extension, a move that requires immense core control to keep the hips stable on the reformer.
The short box series is a classic Pilates sequence for a reason. It deeply challenges the core and improves spinal mobility as clients move through flexion, extension, and rotation.
This is a single-arm back rowing exercise with a spinal twist. This unilateral movement is fantastic for strengthening the rhomboids and lats while also fixing muscular imbalances in the back.
We incorporate tools like resistance bands to intensify the workout. Here, clients perform rowing lunges, which challenge their balance while simultaneously working their back, glutes, and legs.
Workout with fun. This clip shows a mix of mat work and reformer exercises happening in the same group session, keeping the energy high and the muscles guessing.
About Group Reformer Classes
In our group reformer sessions, you get more than just a standard class. We limit batches to 4-6 people so I can actually see your form, correct your pelvic alignment, and give you that 'thoda push' when you need it most. It is a mix of intense core work and controlled flow that keeps the energy high, even when your muscles are shaking.
Precision meets intensity
Many think Reformer Pilates is just about gentle stretching. That is not how we do it here. When you are on the reformer, we focus on eccentric muscle strength and stability. By using the springs to create resistance, we make sure every rep counts. Whether we are doing lunges for glute activation or the short box series to challenge your core, the goal is always the same: precision.
Why our groups work
I treat group classes the same way I treat personal training. You will hear me giving technical cues about your thoracic spine, your breathing, and how to stabilize your lumbopelvic complex. We do not just go through the motions. We analyze how you move so you can fix issues like chronic back pain or a desk-job slouch.
The Hauz Khas Vibe
Our studio is a temperature-controlled basement space in Hauz Khas, designed to let you disconnect from the city noise and focus entirely on your movement. You will find people of all ages and fitness levels here, and the atmosphere is collaborative rather than competitive. We use dumbbells, resistance bands, and stability balls to keep the flow dynamic, so you never get bored.
What to expect
- Small Cohorts: 4-6 people max to keep the energy tight and the supervision high.
- Technical Cues: Learn to engage the right muscles and stop relying on momentum.
- Controlled Progression: We start with foundation and move to advanced flows as you get stronger.
- The 'Burn': Expect to sweat, but expect to have fun doing it.
