Advanced Art and Canvas Painting Lessons
Move beyond the basics with project-focused modules designed for older children, teens, and adults. Master shading, composition, and acrylic techniques in our specialized art sessions.
A detailed pencil sketch of a rose, focusing on shading to create depth and realism. This is a great project for students wanting to improve their shading skills.
A realistic oil painting of a chess game in progress. This advanced project requires a good understanding of light, shadow, and perspective.
A beautiful still life painting with a blue vase, grapes, and an apple. This project teaches composition, shading, and color blending with oil pastels.
A modern, abstract painting of a woman's silhouette. This project encourages students to explore different art styles and express themselves creatively.
A textured mini-painting created with a palette knife. This technique adds a three-dimensional quality to the artwork.
A serene painting of a pagoda against a full moon. This piece uses silhouettes and a limited color palette to create a peaceful and atmospheric scene.
A collection of various paintings, showcasing the range of styles and subjects we cover in our advanced classes.
About Developing Advanced Skills
Unlike our beginner sessions, this module is strictly project-based. We focus on completing 2-3 display-worthy artworks per module, whether it is a canvas painting, a still-life composition, or an intricate piece of traditional Indian art. It is less about technique drilling and more about understanding composition, light, shadow, and color theory, giving you or your child the space to create something they are truly proud to hang on a wall.
Mastering Your Craft
When we move into advanced art, the goal shifts from just 'learning to draw' to understanding how to capture depth and emotion. In these sessions, we focus on three main pillars:
- Canvas & Acrylics: Learn the essentials of priming a canvas, layering paints, and background blending. We take you through the entire process, from a blank board to a finished painting.
- Pencil Shading & Realism: This is where we pay attention to the details. We practice light and shadow concepts to make objects look three-dimensional. Whether it is a rose or a still-life setup, you will learn to see the world with an artist's eye.
- Traditional Art Forms: We explore the heritage of Warli and Madhubani, teaching the patience and precision required to create complex, repetitive patterns that look stunning.
Why Choose Our Advanced Modules?
I design these classes to be therapeutic. Art, especially at this level, is about focus and stress relief as much as it is about skill. Whether you are a teen looking to build a portfolio or a parent wanting a creative outlet, the environment is supportive and non-judgmental.
We provide the studio easels, palettes, and acrylic paints at our Pitampura center. You bring your own canvas boards or sketchbooks. We keep batch sizes small—usually 6-10 students—to ensure that everyone gets enough time for personal feedback and correction. If you are joining us online, we use a spotlight review method to check your strokes in real-time, ensuring you get the same attention as you would in the studio.
