Our Featured Drawing Styles and Art Techniques
Welcome to my creative space. Whether your child is just starting or ready to explore new styles, I use gentle techniques to build their confidence and imagination through every stroke.
I believe art should be simple and magical. In my classes, we have fun turning basic shapes and numbers into amazing drawings, like transforming the number "1" into six different creations, from a candle to a boat.
Nothing makes me happier than seeing a student proudly show off their finished artwork. This piece, with its bright, fluffy birds, is a perfect example of the confidence and joy that art brings to children.
My classes also cater to older students who want to explore more advanced art. This vibrant Buddha painting, with its detailed shading and color blending, shows the beautiful results of focus and dedication.
Kids love drawing their favorite cartoon characters, and I love teaching them how. Here, we bring the iconic friendship of SpongeBob and Patrick to life with bold lines and cheerful colors, making it a fun project for any young fan.
Learning to draw landscapes is a wonderful skill. I guide students step-by-step to create peaceful village scenes, teaching them how to draw huts, trees, and mountains to build their own little world on paper.
I love connecting art with our rich culture. This drawing of little Krishna is a great example of how we celebrate festivals, teaching children to draw divine figures in a simple, accessible, and colorful way.
We explore different traditional Indian art styles, like this beautiful Madhubani elephant. These lessons help children appreciate our artistic heritage while learning about intricate patterns and vibrant color combinations.
The smiles on these young artists' faces say it all. My classes for the 3-6 age group are all about playful exploration, helping even the littlest hands create art they can be proud of, like this seahorse and rainy day scene.
About Featured
In my sessions, we focus on the process, not just the result. I use a simple, stress-free approach where we might turn the number '1' into a boat or a candle, helping kids overcome the fear of a blank page. Whether you join me in Pitampura or connect online, my goal is to guide your child with patience so they truly enjoy the act of creating.
My Approach to Teaching Art
I believe that a blank page should be a safe space. In our classes, I guide children through a methodology of 'gentle teaching.' There is no punishment and no pressure to be perfect. We break complex ideas into small, manageable steps. If we are drawing a village scene, we start with simple shapes like circles and lines to form the huts and trees. This reduces anxiety and builds the child's belief that they can draw anything.
Why Number Art Works
Many parents ask how we keep younger children engaged. The answer lies in my 'Number Art' technique. We take basic digits and transform them into living objects. A number '1' becomes a tall tree, a candle, or a boat. This bridges the gap between what they already know (numbers) and the new skill they are learning (drawing), making the entire experience intuitive and fun.
Flexible Learning Options
Whether you are based here in Delhi or elsewhere, I want art to be accessible.
- Online Classes: We use live, interactive video calls. I use a spotlight review method to provide real-time feedback, ensuring every child feels heard.
- Studio Classes: For those in Pitampura, my residential studio offers a screen-free environment. Here, I can provide tactile correction on pencil grip and posture, which is especially helpful for younger kids developing their fine motor skills.
Building More Than Just Skills
My goal extends beyond art. We work on patience, attention to detail, and emotional expression. When a student completes a project—be it a Madhubani-inspired elephant or a simple landscape—they gain a sense of accomplishment. That pride is the most important output of my class.
