About Drawing Classes
Why I Teach Drawing
Art is how I connect with kids who might not always find the right words. I focus on unki bhavnao ko samajhna (understanding their feelings) and making sure every child feels heard, even if it’s just through a pencil and paper. For me, a blank page is a safe space where imagination gets to run wild.
How My Classes Work
I keep things simple and fun. My approach is all about bachho ko pyaar se samjhana (explaining with love). We break things down into easy steps - sometimes we turn the number 1 into a bird, or a circle into affirming art. This way, even kids who think they “can’t draw” start believing they can. Mistakes are welcome here, because that’s how we learn.
What We Draw
We cover a bit of everything:
- Awesome animals (bunnies, fish, elephants, unicorns)
- Landscapes, sunsets, village scenes, gardens
- Cartoons, fairies, castles, hot air balloons
- Festival themes (Ganesh Chaturthi, Christmas, Janmashtami)
- Folk art styles like Warli and Rajasthani
Who Can Join
I have batches for ages 3-6 and 7-12. Classes are live online (so you can join from anywhere), or in-person at my Pitampura studio in Delhi. Timings are flexible - mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekdays or weekends.
More Than Just Drawing
Kids pick up much more than art here. They get creative, improve focus, build fine motor skills, and walk away feeling proud. If you’re looking for step-by-step drawing lessons or creative art activities for kids, this is the place.
