Student Art Showcase: Projects and Creative Work
From early finger paintings to advanced Madhubani canvas work, we celebrate the creativity of every student who walks through our doors. See the variety of styles and techniques our learners master across all age groups.
I am so proud to present our talented students at our annual art exhibition and prize distribution program. It's a joy to see them stand beside their creations, which are displayed for all our friends and family to appreciate.
Here is one of our senior students, Adhya from the 11th standard, proudly showing her completed Madhubani paintings. We guide older students in advanced techniques like acrylics on canvas to create professional-quality folk art.
A glimpse into a typical day at our Mumbai studio. You can see the students deeply focused on their individual projects, learning and creating together in a supportive group environment.
Our online art classes are just as interactive and engaging as our in-person sessions. Here is a screenshot from a Google Meet class where students are sharing their progress on their latest creative drawings.
Congratulations to Saanvi from the 7th standard for achieving an 'A' grade in her grade exam. This is a wonderful example of the high-quality print work using oil colours that we prepare our students for.
Tote bag painting is one of our most popular craft activities. In this video, students are showing off their finished acrylic designs on jute bags, turning a simple item into a piece of wearable art.
We believe art isn't confined to the studio. Here is a student during an outdoor plain-air painting session, capturing the beauty of nature firsthand to create a realistic landscape drawing.
The joy of creating starts early at our academy. This is Ira, a 2nd standard student from one of our online classes, with her beautiful and colorful finger painting of birds and flowers.
About Featured
Notice how our studio projects vary based on the student's age and skill level. We balance foundational drawing techniques for Jr. KG children with rigorous composition and design training for our senior students preparing for government grade exams. Whether working on a tote bag or a detailed still life canvas, every piece shown here reflects a specific stage in our students' learning journey.
At Saptarang Art Academy, our curriculum is designed to evolve with your child. We start with basic motor skills and shape recognition for young learners, moving towards complex techniques like shading, perspective, and color theory as they grow.
Our Creative Approach
- Foundational Skills: For our younger students, we focus on oil pastels and craft-based projects. This helps children build confidence and fine motor skills in a social group setting.
- Advanced Training: We coach senior students (ages 10 to 16) in professional techniques, including acrylic on canvas, watercolor washes, and traditional Madhubani art. This is tailored for those looking to develop a serious portfolio or prepare for Elementary and Intermediate Drawing Grade Exams.
- Flexible Learning: While our Andheri East studio offers a collaborative environment with floor seating and live props for observational drawing, our online classes on Google Meet provide the same interactive feedback, allowing students to learn techniques in real-time from the comfort of their homes.
Why Parents Choose Us
We believe art is not just about the final image but about the process. From outdoor landscape sessions to festive-themed workshops, we encourage students to experiment with different mediums. Our annual exhibition serves as a platform for students to display their hard work, giving them a sense of pride and accomplishment that goes beyond just a hobby. We keep batch sizes small to ensure every student receives personal correction on their pencil strokes or paint blending, ensuring they are truly learning the craft.
Saptarang Art Academy
I started Saptarang Art Academy in 2005 with one goal: to make sure every child feels the joy of creating something new. Whether your child is just starting their artistic journey or preparing for advanced art exams, my focus is always on nurturing their personal style and confidence.
