A Visual Showcase of Our Creative Journey
From toddlers exploring 'garam' colours to seniors discovering the joy of portraiture, this is a glimpse into the community and craft we cultivate at Grahin.
I believe art is a journey of patience and detail. Here, one of our Fine Arts students brings a divine figure to life on a large canvas, showcasing the advanced techniques and dedication we nurture in our diploma course.
"We are Grahin students." This is our anthem. From young children learning color theory to senior citizens mastering portraits, we are a community that learns, grows, and creates together. This is what art for everyone looks like.
It all starts with the basics. Listen as one of our youngest students, just four years old, proudly explains 'garam' or warm colors. Our toddlers' program makes learning fundamentals like color theory a joyful and memorable experience.
We believe the world is the best classroom. Our outdoor study tours are a core part of our curriculum, where students of all ages leave the studio to practice live sketching and landscape drawing in nature.
Who says still life has to be boring? Here in Mumbai, we find inspiration everywhere, even in a humble Vada Pav. This is a fun session from our foundation course, teaching students to see and sketch the beauty in everyday objects.
It is never too late to follow your passion. I am so proud of our senior student, Mr. Uday Garde, who created this beautiful watercolour portrait of the beloved actor Laxmikanth Berde. Our hobby classes for senior citizens are filled with such inspiring stories.
In our exam preparation courses, we focus on practical skills. This is a live demonstration of a watercolour memory drawing, a key subject for government grade exams, where I guide students on how to translate memories into compelling compositions.
The culmination of our students' hard work is our Annual Art Exhibition. It's a proud moment to see their creations professionally framed and displayed, receiving appreciation from hundreds of art lovers. This is a glimpse of the celebration.
About Featured
At Grahin, you won't find us teaching students to copy sketches from a board. Whether you are a four-year-old mixing your first paint or a senior citizen picking up a brush for the first time, we focus on observation and the creative process. If you want to see how we guide you to find your own style, step-by-step, take a look at our current batch availability.
Our approach is simple: we believe art is for everyone, regardless of age or skill level. Since 2011, we have built a community in Ghatkopar, Dadar, and Thane where self-doubt is replaced by practice and 'prem' (love).
What You Will Find at Grahin
We do not believe in rigid, textbook-only learning. Our foundation and diploma courses are designed to get you comfortable with mediums like charcoal, watercolours, and oils. For our younger students, it is about developing fine motor skills and confidence through sensory art, not just drawing. For adults and exam aspirants, we emphasize the 'how' behind the art—understanding perspective, composition, and light.
Learning Beyond the Studio
We take our learning out into the world. Our outdoor study tours are a core part of our curriculum because we believe the best classroom is the one you step into. Whether it is sketching live landscapes or preparing for professional portfolios for art schools like JJ School of Art, we provide the mentorship to turn your interest into a serious skill. We also host annual exhibitions where our students display their work, giving everyone from toddlers to hobbyists a platform to celebrate their progress.
Whether you are looking for exam prep, a hobby, or a professional fine arts diploma, our doors are open. We are here to help you paint your dreams.
