A closer look at our guitarists during their 'Sarvaang' performance. We teach students not just how to play, but how to perform as an ensemble, listening to each other and creating a cohesive sound on stage.
Our students deeply focused during their guitar recital. Learning an instrument with us is a journey of dedication, from mastering finger positions and chords in class to delivering a polished performance under the stage lights.
Admissions are open for our instrumental music programs, including Spanish Guitar. This is your chance to start a new musical journey, mastering the strings under the guidance of our experienced, performing artists.
Join our new batches for Spanish Guitar and begin your training in instrumental music. Our curriculum is structured to take you from the basics of holding the guitar to playing intricate melodies and songs.
About Instrumental Music: Guitar and Tabla
For our Spanish Guitar program, classes are conducted in small groups of 6 to 10 students, focusing on staff notation, chord progressions, and ensemble performance. Please note that this is a BYOI (Bring Your Own Instrument) course, so students are required to carry their own acoustic Spanish guitar to every session at our Mandi House center.
At Sangeet Bharati, we approach instrumental music as a disciplined craft. We believe that music is a form of expression that requires a strong foundation in theory and a commitment to practice.
Spanish Guitar
Our Spanish Guitar curriculum is designed for students aged 8 and above. We move beyond simple strumming, focusing on staff notation, chord progressions, and intricate melodies. Because we teach in small group batches, we provide ample space for individual attention while building essential ensemble skills.
Tabla Classes
Our Tabla classes for students aged 7 to 15 focus on the fundamentals of laya (rhythm) and taal (rhythmic cycle). It is about training the mind for concentration as much as training the hands for precision. We provide shared practice sets at the facility, so students only need to bring their focus and dedication.
The Importance of Performance
We do not believe in keeping music confined to the classroom. Our annual events like 'Sarvaang' and 'Taranga' are central to our pedagogy. Performing on the rangmanch is where students face their nerves and find their true voice. Whether you are a beginner or looking to refine your technique, our Mandi House center offers a space to learn, practice, and perform.
