About Find Your Instrument: In The Classroom
When you join us for in-studio sessions, we provide heavy equipment like pianos, keyboards, and drum kits, so you do not have to carry them. For guitar and violin students, however, we ask that you bring your own instruments to class, as learning to master your personal gear is a vital part of your development.
At Urban Raga, we do not believe in rigid, dry lectures. We are professional performers ourselves, and we teach music the way we practice it—with a focus on technique, expression, and confidence. Whether you are working toward Grade 8 certification with ABRSM and Trinity, or you just want to de-stress after work with a guitar jam, we tailor our approach to fit your goals.
Our studios in Bengaluru and Shillong are acoustically treated and climate-controlled, providing an environment where you can focus entirely on your practice. If you cannot make it to a physical center, our live online tutoring via Zoom ensures you get the same multi-angle demonstrations and personalized feedback from our senior faculty.
We keep our group classes small, typically three to six students, to ensure you get enough individual attention while still benefiting from peer interaction. If you prefer absolute focus, our private one-on-one sessions offer complete flexibility and rapid progress. You are not just learning notes here; you are joining a community that celebrates every milestone, from your first tabla bol to your first performance at Music Manthan.
