About this collection
Planning a full-scale production involves careful technical coordination. Whether you choose our live orchestra or studio-mastered tracks, we require a professional sound system, proper lighting, and a clear stage area to ensure our choreography and intricate abhinaya are fully visible to your audience.
We view every performance as an opportunity to share the spiritual depth of Mohiniyattam. Our signature production, 'Ashtalakshmi', is designed for large-scale stages, utilizing a 14-member crew including senior disciples and live musicians playing the Edakka, Flute, Veena, and Mridangam.
The magic happens in the details, from the traditional temple jewelry and authentic Kasavu sarees to the live 'Manodharma' where our musicians and dancers improvise in real-time. For organizers, we provide a complete technical rider. We need the venue space for at least 2 hours before the show for sound checks to ensure the acoustics of the live ensemble are balanced perfectly.
We have performed at major cultural hubs, including Guruvayur and Medai, and we adapt our production scale to fit your requirements. We are Samarpana, a Bangalore-based collective of dancers and musicians dedicated to the tradition of Mohiniyattam. We perform as a family, led by our Guru Vinaya Narayanan, and we pour that same soul into every full-scale production we take on.
