Dance becomes a conversation when we work together. I love exploring fusion and Bollywood with fellow artists, focusing on that perfect sync and storytelling flow.

A beautiful semi-classical fusion piece with a partner at The Movement Hub. This choreography plays with synchronization and contrast, ending with a fun, unexpected moment.

A fun and playful Bollywood partner work routine. These classes are all about connection, timing, and having a great time with your dance partner.

A smooth, lyrical hip-hop collaboration filmed on the streets of Mumbai. This shows my versatility and love for exploring different styles with other artists.

'Pal pal jeena', living in every moment. A contemporary piece with a partner, this choreography is about finding connection and flow in the studio.

Raw rehearsal footage is sometimes the most special. This is a behind-the-scenes look at the creation process with a partner, working on a new piece and finding the moves together.

Reunited with my best people in India for a fun, casual dance session on a rooftop. This is what it's all about: friendship, joy, and movement.

About this collection

Partner work is less about perfect steps and more about listening to the person next to you. In these sessions, we focus heavily on eye contact and timing rather than just mirroring choreography. You do not need to bring your own partner to join; we rotate pairings throughout the class so you get to experiment with different leads and followers, which is the fastest way to build your own confidence on the dance floor.

There is a specific kind of magic that happens when two people find their rhythm together. My collaboration classes are designed to break down the walls between different styles, blending my Kathak roots with the high energy of Bollywood or the fluid, expressive movements of contemporary dance.

Whether we are working in a studio in Andheri or collaborating across borders in London, the goal is always to keep the movement honest. Sometimes we are working on intricate synchronization for a performance piece, and other times we are just finding a shared flow to a trending song. These sessions are perfect if you want to push your boundaries beyond solo practice.

I structure these workshops to be inclusive. We usually start with a warm-up that gets everyone comfortable moving in shared spaces, followed by a breakdown of a routine that emphasizes interaction. You will learn how to lead, how to follow, and how to hold space for someone else while performing. It is a fantastic way to develop your performance presence. If you have been feeling stuck in your solo practice, these partner routines offer a completely different perspective on how your body moves in relation to others.

My name is Saloni, and I am a Kathak dancer who is equally at home in a Mumbai studio or a London hall. I believe dance is meant to be shared, which is why I am constantly looking for new collaborators to experiment with. I just want to create spaces where we can drop the performance pressure and actually have fun moving together.
