Editorial and Magazine Cover Styling in Mumbai
From high-fashion editorial spreads to celebrity magazine covers, I help translate your creative vision into compelling visuals. Let's build a narrative that demands attention.
The cover shot for Femina featuring Malaika Arora. We layered a plaid blazer over an embellished lace dress to create a sophisticated yet bold look for the magazine's special showcase.
Styling Manushi Chhillar for this Travel + Leisure cover was about creating a modern, chic escape. The neutral tones of the pantsuit paired with the classic Vespa created a fresh, stylish aesthetic.
For the summer issue of Travel + Leisure, I styled Sara Tendulkar in this relaxed denim-on-denim look. The goal was to reflect a cool, effortless summer story, balancing casual wear with statement jewelry.
An editorial shot of Farhan and Shibani Akhtar for Travel + Leisure at Raffles Udaipur. The styling here was about complementing the grand architecture with equally elegant outfits.
Another look from the Travel + Leisure shoot with Farhan and Shibani Akhtar. Shibani's animal print co-ord set and Farhan's dark tuxedo create a rich, contrasting visual against the artistic backdrop.
A beautifully composed shot from the Travel + Leisure editorial with Farhan and Shibani Akhtar. Their coordinated yet distinct looks create a sense of harmony and individual style.
This creative shot from the Travel + Leisure editorial places Farhan and Shibani in a garden maze. The styling was kept sharp and elegant to contrast with the organic, natural setting.

About Magazine Covers & Editorials
Editorial work is all about continuity and collaboration. When we are on set for a cover shoot, my job is to ensure the clothing moves perfectly against the backdrop and complements the photographer’s lighting. I work closely with your creative team to manage everything from mood boards and garment sourcing to on-set adjustments like clamping and pinning so every frame is ready to publish.
My process starts long before the camera starts clicking. Whether we are aiming for a high-fashion editorial or a celebrity cover story, I build a style narrative that aligns with your brand's vision or the publication's aesthetic. This involves deep research, creating detailed mood boards, and sourcing the right pieces—balancing established designer labels with unique, emerging voices.
On set, styling is a technical job. I focus on outfit continuity, ensuring that accessories, drapes, and hemlines remain consistent across takes. From coordinating with the hair and makeup team to checking how fabrics like sequins, leather, or silk react to studio lighting, I make sure the visual flow is seamless.
If you are planning an editorial project, we should start by discussing the brief. I am based in Mumbai but frequently travel for shoots across India. We can handle everything from avant-garde concepts to classic commercial looks, tailoring the sourcing and fit management to your specific needs.
