When it’s showtime, clothes have to work as hard as the talent. My role goes beyond just the outfit—I am there on-site to handle everything from quick wardrobe fixes and complex draping to coordinating with hair and makeup teams, so the talent can focus entirely on the interview or appearance.
Promotions usually mean tight schedules and non-stop movement. Whether it is a press junket for a series like 'Heeramandi' or a movie tour for 'Yaariyan 2', the styling needs to be both photogenic and functional. A standard day involves managing multiple looks—often from different designers—ensuring each transition happens seamlessly without a hitch.
I prioritize fit and comfort so the celebrity can perform without being hindered by an uncomfortable corset or loose hem. My process starts with building a style deck that respects the project's narrative, followed by rigorous fittings to ensure every clamp, pin, and tape application is invisible. I work closely with hair and makeup artists to guarantee the beauty look complements the wardrobe, creating a cohesive visual. From sourcing high-street pieces to coordinating pulls from top Indian designers, I handle the logistics so the focus stays on the promotion.
