Cultural and Spiritual Classes for Kids
We believe learning culture should feel like a community celebration, not a boring lecture. Join us at our Banashankari studio to help your child explore shlokas, heritage, and mindfulness in a fun, group environment.

Celebrating MahaShivaratri with a special shloka session. We guide children in chanting and understanding the significance of these sacred verses.
About Cultural & Spiritual Classes
Our sessions are designed to be a comfortable space for young learners. We sit together in a traditional circle on floor mats, creating an open environment where kids feel comfortable asking questions about the meaning behind the hymns. It is less about rote memorization and more about getting the pronunciation right while enjoying the sense of togetherness that comes from chanting as a group.
Why Join Our Cultural Classes?
We treat spirituality as part of daily joy rather than a heavy, academic subject. Our goal is to make sure your child feels connected to their roots through simple, engaging practices.
The Learning Flow
- Pronunciation Focus: We work on 'Uchcharane' (correct pronunciation) and breath control, ensuring children learn the Hanuman Chalisa, Vishnu Sahasranamam, or Bhagavad Gita verses without feeling pressured.
- Beyond the Text: We always pause to explain the mythology and stories behind the shlokas. When kids understand why they are chanting, the focus comes naturally.
- Community Impact: Sitting together on mats in a group setting builds a shared rhythm. It is calming for high-energy kids and provides a necessary break from screens.
What to Expect
- Age Group: We welcome children aged 5 and above.
- Frequency: Regular sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
- Mindfulness: Every class includes a short session of guided meditation or Omkara chanting to help children ground themselves.
Whether preparing for a specific festival like Sri Rama Navami or building a regular practice, we want your child to take home a sense of calm. We encourage traditional ethnic wear during special chanting days to keep the festive spirit alive throughout the year.
