About Festival & Cultural Workshops
How We Celebrate Traditions
At Sai Home Studio, I bring Indian festivals to life with loads of josh (energy) and hands-on fun. For me, it’s all about creating a space where kids and families can enjoy our roots together - through art, dance, stories, and plenty of laughter. No lectures here, just doing and celebrating.
What Happens at My Workshops
- Every festival workshop is packed with interactive activities. Think sculpting your own eco-friendly Ganesha (yes, that’s our most popular one), handmade Diwali diya decoration, and learning Indian folk dance steps like Dandiya and Garba.
- I keep it simple - all materials are provided. Just come ready to get your hands messy.
- Most workshops are for kids 4+, with a few open to adults too.
- For Dussehra, there’s a full art and craft camp with dance, festive cooking, and rangoli making.
- We’re big on the planet - so expect natural materials, no chemical colours.
- Everything happens at our Banashankari studio, where you’ll find a friendly, community vibe.
More Than Just Festivals
Apart from the big festivals, I run regular classes like shloka chanting, peaceful meditation, Dashavathaaram camps, and cultural storytelling sessions for children. Ethnic wear is always encouraged to keep the festive mood alive.
Some events are just a day, and others stretch over a week - but each one is about making memories that stick.

My Story
Ellarigu Namaskara! We’re Sai Home Studio in Banashankari. Since 2014, our place has been more adda (hangout) than classroom. Kids, adults, everyone drops in - sometimes for painting, sometimes to shake a leg, or just sing Hanuman Chalisa with us. Bengaluru roots run deep here, especially during our Gowri Ganesha and Sankranthi habba. For us, it’s all about smiles, messy hands, and memories made together. One workshop, one festival, one happy moment at a time.
