Ever wonder what goes into turning a blank wall into a story? Here is a peek into my process, from the first sketch to the final stroke.

A peek behind the scenes of our mural creation. Here, my team and I are prepping the wall and beginning to lay out the design. This is the first step in turning a blank canvas into a story.

Every masterpiece starts with a blank wall. This was the beginning of a community art project in Mysore, where we primed the surface to prepare it for a new, vibrant story.

The initial sketch and color blocking phase of a public mural. This collaborative process involves outlining the figures and filling in the base colors before adding the finer details.

Getting into the details. This close-up shot shows me carefully painting the features of a figure in a community mural, showcasing the focus required to bring characters to life.

Working side-by-side with my team on a large-scale project. Collaboration is key to creating cohesive and impactful murals, especially for public art installations.

Another view of the mural in progress. You can see how the figures are starting to emerge from the wall as we continue to add layers of color and detail.

About Behind the Scenes: The Artist at Work

Before the first brushstroke, my process always involves a video consultation to align on your vision, whether you want traditional Warli folk art or a modern abstract piece. I focus heavily on surface preparation, including minor crack filling and professional priming, to ensure the artist-grade acrylics bond perfectly and your mural stays vibrant for years to come.
