Behind the Scenes: My Mural Painting Process
From the first sketch on a blank wall to the final brushstroke, see how I transform spaces in Bengaluru through hand-painted murals.

About this collection
My mural process isn't just about painting; it's about preparation. Before any paint touches your wall, I spend time on site visits and grid-marking to ensure the design flows naturally around your existing architecture—like light switches, skirting boards, or door frames. Whether it’s setting up scaffolding for double-height staircases or sketching freehand for a living room feature wall, I handle the logistics so you just get to watch the transformation happen.
How I Approach Your Wall
Every mural starts with a conversation. I don't believe in copy-paste designs; I want your wall to tell your story.
1. Site Assessment & Design I begin with a site visit to understand your space—the light, the traffic, and the existing decor. We’ll discuss the mood you want. For intricate projects, I create custom digital mockups or hand-sketched concept layouts so you know exactly how the design will sit on your wall.
2. The Messy Part (Execution) Yes, it gets messy, and that’s part of the fun.
- Geometric & Graphic: I use high-quality masking tape for sharp, clean lines and flat, matte finishes with emulsion.
- Line Art: This requires patience. I use extensive pencil grid marking for symmetry, working with fine-liner brushes for consistent weight.
- Large-Scale/3D: If we’re working on high ceilings or stairwells, I manage the scaffolding setup. I use wet-on-wet blending techniques to create depth, ensuring the mural looks cohesive from every angle.
3. Materials & Longevity I work with professional-grade interior emulsions mixed with artist-grade acrylics. For high-traffic areas or sun-lit zones, I ensure the paint is durable and colorfast.
What to Expect You’ll see me climbing ladders, mixing custom color palettes on the floor, and adjusting lines in real-time. I don't hide the process—it’s how we get to the perfect result. Whether it’s a cafe in Koramangala or a puja room in Whitefield, I treat every surface as a canvas.
