Real Results, Not Just Hype: Our Academy Success Stories
Don't just chase speed guns. See how my trainees are actually making it to the Ranji Trophy, U-23, and professional leagues with hard, honest work.
This is what happens when you focus on skill. Mani Grewal earned his spot in the Ranji Trophy this year after a stellar U-23 season. He is not a 150 kph bowler, but a skillful artist who knows how to take wickets. Hard work in the right direction pays off.
Another one of our boys, Dhruv Soni, making his way to the Ranji Trophy. This is the result of relentless hard work and training with a clear focus. We prepare you for the demands of professional red-ball cricket.
The hard work never stops paying off. Here's another one of our trainees, Rishi, getting the call-up for the Bihar Ranji Trophy squad. He gives his all in every session, and that dedication is what gets you selected.
This is what our environment creates. Mani Grewal, a product of our system, taking 22 wickets in 6 innings for DDCA U-23, including two 5-wicket hauls. We focus on making you an effective bowler who wins matches.
The 'Bijli' has arrived. Sonu Chhikara, with a remarkable Yo-Yo score of 21.6, makes it to the Railways U-23 team. This is proof that supreme fitness combined with skill is the path to success.
This is what genetically gifted talent combined with hard work looks like. Abhishek, one of our young prospects, taking a 7-wicket haul for the Bihar Cricket Association. We provide the environment to turn potential into performance.
We don't promise selections, but we ensure our players are ready when the opportunity comes. Here are four players from our academy who represented their respective states this season. The goal is to work hard and be prepared.
A proud moment seeing our player make his Ranji Trophy debut. This is the culmination of years of dedication, discipline, and countless hours spent honing his craft in the nets and in the gym.
From the academy nets to the bright lights of the Delhi Premier League. Here's one of our fast bowlers in action, taking a wicket in a high-pressure T20 match. We train you to perform when it matters most.
The celebration says it all. Taking a wicket in a professional T20 league is a feeling like no other. This is the result of countless hours of practice, focusing on skill, accuracy, and mental toughness.
About From Our Academy to the Big Leagues
You have seen the images—these are not just random trainees, they are players who have made the cut for state teams. At my academy, we do not fixate on 150 kph vanity numbers. We work on the 'tappa'—landing the ball where it matters—and building a cricketing brain that actually wins matches.
Most coaching centers will show you a shiny turf and promise you an IPL contract. I show you the Ranji Trophy debutants. When you look at players like Mani Grewal or Sonu Chhikara, you see the result of doing the boring, repetitive work that most people avoid. Mani did not get his break because of a fluke; he got it because he focused on being a skillful bowler who understands how to take wickets, not just a pacer who is obsessed with the speed gun.
At RV Sports Performance in GTB Nagar, we do not have time for ego. We work on the reality of the game. If you are a fast bowler, your job is to restrict the opponent and take wickets. If you cannot bowl on a specific length under pressure, your speed is useless. That is why we train on earthen matti wickets—it forces you to learn how to move the ball rather than relying on a perfectly flat surface.
Whether it is Abhishek’s 7-wicket haul for Bihar or our boys getting into the Delhi Premier League, the philosophy is identical. We provide the environment, the tough love, and the technical correction. The player provides the discipline. If you are looking for a 'quick fix' or a fancy gym workout that you saw on Instagram, look elsewhere. If you are ready to be a student of the game and do the hard yards, this is where you belong.
