Being a runner is more than just logging miles; it's about staying safe, healthy, and smart. We host regular workshops, from CPR training to nutrition talks, so our community stays prepared and informed on and off the road.

After a training run, some of our members attended an informative session on cardiac health for runners. We believe that understanding our bodies is just as important as training them.

About Learn & Grow: Workshops & Sessions

Our CPR and Basic Life Support workshops aren't just theory. We partner with medical experts to get our members hands-on training with manikins, ensuring you actually have the confidence to act if an emergency happens on the road. It's practical stuff that every runner should know.

Running on Bengaluru roads, whether it's the trails at Lalbagh or the track at Kanteerava, comes with its own set of risks. That’s why we believe every runner should be their own first responder. When we hit the road for long runs or training sessions, safety is non-negotiable.

Beyond just pounding the pavement, our workshops cover the essentials that keep our community going. We have hosted in-depth sessions on cardiac health for endurance athletes, nutrition strategies for marathoners, and comprehensive Basic Life Support (BLS) training. It’s hands-on—our members practice chest compressions and the Heimlich maneuver until it becomes muscle memory.

Learning these life-saving skills together makes us stronger. We have already trained over 80 members to be first responders, proving that running is about more than personal bests; it’s about looking out for each other. Whether you are prepping for the TCS World 10K or just starting your journey, these sessions are designed to help you run smarter and safer. Bas, show up, get trained, and run with peace of mind.
