Giving Back to the Bengaluru Running Community
We don't just run the races; we help make them happen. Join our crew at the hydration stations and cheering zones across Bangalore.
A proud moment for me and Running Roadies, receiving this certificate of appreciation from TCS World 10K. It's an honor to be recognized for our volunteering efforts for the third year in a row.
A behind the scenes look at our volunteering efforts. From early morning prep to cheering on runners with disabilities, our team was there from start to finish, giving it their all.
Volunteering is hard work, but we make it fun! This video shows our crew dancing and keeping the energy high at our water station. A happy volunteer crew means happy runners.
About Giving Back to the Running Community
When you volunteer with us, you are not just handing out water cups; you are the energy that keeps 30,000 runners going. We treat hydration stations like a party zone, keeping the music loud and the cheering even louder so every runner feels that extra push when their legs start giving up. Whether it is a local 5k or the massive TCS World 10K, our crew is there to make sure no one quits alone.
Volunteering is in our DNA at Running Roadies. While we love the personal highs of a finish line, there is something uniquely rewarding about standing on the other side of the barricade. We have been the proud hydration partners for major Bengaluru events for three years running, and our role is simple: keep the runners hydrated and the energy levels sky-high.
Why Join Our Volunteer Squad
We manage water stations from the early morning setup until the last runner passes through. It involves everything from race-day logistics to being the loudest cheer squad on the route. You do not need to be an ultra-runner to help. We welcome everyone who brings high energy and a smile. It is the perfect way to understand race-day dynamics, meet fellow enthusiasts, and soak in the marathon vibe without the pressure of the race clock.
Our Impact on the Bengaluru Running Ecosystem
From Kanteerava Stadium to the marathon routes across Cubbon Park, our cyan blue jerseys have become a recognized symbol of support. We believe that a strong running community is built on mutual help. By volunteering, you contribute to the success of events that inspire thousands, and you get to witness the incredible spirit of the city. We even host pre-event recce runs and training sessions to make sure our volunteers are ready to handle the crowd and the pace of race day.
Running Roadies
Running solo is boring, so I built this family to share the miles and the madness. We are not a formal club with strict rules; we are just a bunch of people who love running and supporting each other, whether we are crushing a marathon or dancing at a water station.
