Don't face race day alone. Join our group practice runs to master official event routes, find your perfect pace, and get that pre-race confidence boost.

About Training for the Big Day

When we tackle race routes like the TCS World 10K, we don't just run together. We set up specific pace groups—such as 55-60 minute finishers or 1 hour 30 minute targets—led by experienced runners who know the course. You aren't guessing your speed or getting lost; you are following a planned, tested strategy that ensures you hit your time goals and finish the actual race with confidence.

Running a race alone is fine, but training for it with a group completely changes the game. We started these practice sessions because we wanted to bridge the gap between solo training and the intensity of event day.

Why Train With the Roadies?

  • Route Familiarity: We hit the actual event routes before the big day. Knowing where the inclines are and when the turns come helps you plan your energy usage properly.
  • The Pacing Advantage: Our volunteers act as pacers. Whether you are aiming for a personal best or just trying to finish, there is always someone in the group running at your target speed.
  • High-Energy Environment: Let’s be real, seeing 40 to 60 other runners in our signature cyan blue jerseys makes the long kilometers feel shorter. We keep the mood light, banter alive, and motivation high even during tough hill repeats.
  • Safety & Strategy: From hydration stations managed by our volunteers to pre-run briefings where we discuss road safety and cardiac health, we cover the practicals so you can focus on the run.

We train across Bengaluru—from the track at Kanteerava Stadium to the quiet stretches of Lalbagh and the loops in Cubbon Park. If you have a goal, bring your energy and join us. We aren't here to judge your speed, just to help you get to the start line ready to go.

We're not a club with strict rules, we're just a family that runs. We believe training for an event shouldn't be a solitary slog, which is why we organize these practice sessions—to make sure everyone, from beginners to ultra-runners, feels ready and supported when race day arrives.
