I’m a total nerd for the technical side of things. Whether it’s testing a three-point lighting setup in my own room or spending hours in DaVinci Resolve just to nail the skin tones, my process is all about the details. I don't just hand over files; I make sure every frame has that moody, cinematic vibe I’m known for.
Why go through all this trouble? Because the vibe isn't an accident.
The Gear & The Grind
I’m the type of person who will stay up all night fighting with DaVinci Resolve 18 just to get a color grade to feel 'right.' If I’m shooting a portrait or a fashion film, I’m obsessed with the shadows and the texture of the light. I shoot RAW because I need to keep every piece of data—especially those deep shadows—so I can control the mood later.
Lighting That Feels Real
I don’t rely on heavy, complicated studio gear if I don’t have to. I love using natural golden hour light, but when I’m in a studio or shooting indoors, I’ll spend time crafting a classic three-point lighting rig. I want the light to shape your face and tell a story, not just brighten a room.
