About Behind The Scenes: The Process
You will notice we are always huddled around a laptop on set. That is because we use tethered shooting, meaning you see every detail of the lighting and composition as it hits the sensor. There is no guessing, no hoping for the best, and no 'we will fix it in post.' You approve the frame in real time, so we only move to the next look when we have nailed the shot.
My sets are a mix of controlled chaos and absolute precision. Because I shoot commercial campaigns and high-end fashion, we do not leave anything to chance. My crew and I function as a single unit, with hair, makeup, and styling team members integrated into the flow to ensure we keep the momentum going.
The Gear and The Grit
We shoot on Fujifilm GFX 100 medium format cameras. This 102MP sensor is overkill for social media, but vital when you are printing for nationwide billboards or looking for that specific leather texture on a product shoot. It captures detail that standard mirrorless setups often miss.
How We Work
When I shout 'let's go, ek aur,' it is not for show. It is about catching that fraction of a second where the light, the model's expression, and the product intent align. Whether we are in a Mumbai studio or out on location, the goal is always the same: capture the story without letting the energy drop.
