My Approach
I’m Rahul, a Mumbai-based cinematographer who’s honestly a bit obsessed with that film look. If you want your wedding to feel less like a staged video and more like a movie filled with real moments, that’s my thing. I chase natural light, candid vibes, and those blink-and-you-miss-it emotions that actually matter. Inspiration? Can come from anywhere - chai tapri (tea stall), Spiti, or your maa’s (mom's) kitchen.
What I Capture
- Pre-wedding films in any vibe you want, from Lonavala hills to the chaos of city streets. My travel film experience helps find epic backdrops.
- Full coverage of all the fun stuff: Haldi, Sangeet, even those random cousin dance-offs. I genuinely look for those emotional wedding film edit moments.
- The main wedding film is where I tie it all together, giving you a cinematic wedding story that isn’t just for Insta but for those random nights when you want to relive the day.
How I Work
- I use pro cameras (Sony a7s3, gimbals for smooth moves, and drones for the venue’s full glory).
- Color grading is my jam - I spend hours to get that dramatic wedding color grading and timeless feel.
- Sometimes, if everything falls into place, I can whip up a wedding day teaser film super quick and surprise you before the mehendi even dries.
Where I Shoot
Based in Mumbai but I’m always up for Goa beaches, snowy hills, or basically anywhere you want to take your story.
