This 5000 sqft luxury home balances raw, honest materials with a minimalist aesthetic. We focused on texture and light to create a space that feels deeply connected to nature.

The foyer sets a tranquil tone with a beautiful Buddha sculpture, set against a backdrop of richly textured marble. The design provides a glimpse into the powder room, hinting at the home's cohesive material palette.

A closer look at the foyer console. We used dramatic backlighting to highlight the natural patterns in the stone wall, turning it into a piece of art.

The main corridor features a continuous wooden ceiling and paneling that conceals a traditional temple. This allows for a seamless transition between the contemporary living spaces and the sacred puja area.

With the doors open, the intricately carved traditional temple is revealed, creating a stunning contrast with the modern lines of the corridor.

A video walkthrough of the main living areas, showcasing the open-plan layout, the warm material palette, and the seamless integration of the traditional temple.

The open-plan living and dining area is the social heart of the home. We used low-slung leather armchairs to create a conversation zone without obstructing the view.

The dining area features a custom table with a sculptural metal base and elegant wooden chairs, positioned to enjoy views of the outdoors.

A large, abstract art piece complements the sectional sofa, adding texture and a focal point to the living space. The entire area is unified by polished marble flooring.

The dining area includes a sleek, modern crockery unit with tinted glass shutters and a marble backsplash, providing stylish and practical storage.

This view highlights the custom wooden pendant light hanging over the dining table, a bespoke piece that enhances the room's warm, rustic aesthetic.

About Project Spotlight: The Rustica

In this 5000 sqft home, the success of the layout lies in how we managed transitions. For example, we used continuous wooden ceiling paneling to conceal a traditional puja unit within the corridor, allowing the home to switch from a modern social space to a private, sacred area without breaking the visual line.
