We transformed this 6000 sqft apartment into a home that honors the client's heritage, blending traditional Kerala artistry with modern Bangalore living.

The private foyer welcomes you with a gorgeous brick-clad wall and a traditional Tanjore painting of a tusker elephant. This space immediately introduces the home's theme of warmth, art, and cultural heritage.

A closer look at the foyer's details. The antique bench, brass temple lamp, and Nandi sculpture were all part of the client's collection, which we used as the starting point for the entire design.

The living room connects seamlessly to a double-height deck, blurring the lines between indoors and outdoors. The design balances modern grey sofas with antique wooden furniture, like the stately grandfather clock.

This cozy corner of the living area features a traditional Indian card table with inlaid tiles and chairs, set against a backdrop of unique art pieces collected by the family.

A view from the living room out to the lush terrace garden. We designed the space to embrace the green canopies of Bengaluru, making it a true garden city apartment.

The terrace features a rustic Moroccan mosaic garden table and wrought iron chairs, creating a perfect setting for morning tea amidst potted plants and flowers.

The outdoor deck combines earthy terracotta tiles with a green turf area, providing a serene escape with beautiful city views.

The dining area is centered around a magnificent custom painting, 'The Last Sadya,' a creative take on Da Vinci's masterpiece celebrating the dance forms of Kerala.

The reflection of the artwork on the glass dining table adds another layer of beauty to the space. The room is a perfect example of how we integrate bespoke art into our interiors.

An upright piano and an antique chess table frame the dining area, adding to the room's atmosphere of culture and sophistication.

About Project Spotlight: Serendipity

In this project, we didn't just design rooms; we built a dedicated studio around the client’s existing art collection. Notice the fluted wood cabinets in mint green and rattan cane shutters—these weren't just aesthetic choices, but functional solutions to store vast painting supplies while keeping the room breathable and light-filled. We prioritize how you actually use your space before choosing the finish.
