We turned a massive 7500 sq ft shell in Hebbal into a lively restobar, balancing raw industrial textures with warm, rustic accents.

A closer look at the bar and dining tables. We chose materials carefully to create a tactile experience, from the smooth wood of the furniture to the textured stone-clad columns and the glossy tile of the bar fascia.

The high-top seating along the side of the space offers a different vantage point. From here, guests can appreciate the soaring ceiling, the natural light from the clerestory windows, and the custom terracotta block wall that adds a warm, earthy element to the bar design.

About Pincode 24: An Industrial Chic Restobar

Designing a 7500 sq ft restobar requires managing the flow between high-energy zones and quiet dining areas. We used a terracotta partition wall to physically separate the staircase and private sections, providing a sense of seclusion without sacrificing the open, airy feeling of the double-volume space.

We’re Rohit and Ramya. ROxAR is just us, two designers in Bangalore building spaces that feel alive, not just pretty. For this Hebbal project, we focused on mixing raw industrial energy with warm, handmade elements to make the place feel welcoming.

The open plan layout of Prequel, with its high ceilings and ample natural light, creates a serene, alfresco-style dining experience. The design draws inspiration from the beautiful cityscape views visible from its two open sides.32
We ensured the furniture was versatile and easy to move, allowing the space to transform for different events and crowds. The black and white patterned chairs add a graphic pop to the industrial setting.
We created comfortable lounge seating pockets for a more intimate experience. These areas, furnished with plush cushions and surrounded by greenery, invite guests to relax and enjoy the space at their leisure.

This wide shot captures the dynamic atmosphere of the main dining area and bar. The design uses a mix of seating types, from intimate tables to long benches, all under a ceiling with acoustic panels and dramatic pink lighting.22
The interior features a variety of textures, including a patterned wall, wooden floors, and plush seating. Arched niches and carefully placed lighting add architectural interest and create a warm, layered environment.
A key feature of the design is this sculptural, suspended bar shelf that hangs under a glass roof. Its curved, modular form is both a functional display and a stunning architectural statement that allows natural light to flood the space.

This wide view of Biergarten showcases how we used different seating arrangements, from booths to tables, to break up the large space. The consistent use of natural materials and warm lighting ties everything together into a cohesive, inviting environment.5

The main dining area of Los Cavos, where the red-lit bar creates a dramatic focal point. The design uses arched windows and warm ambient lighting to craft an intimate yet grand atmosphere, reminiscent of colonial Cuban architecture.88
Details at Los Cavos include custom artwork and stained-glass doors set against distressed, textured walls. These elements work together to build an authentic, time-worn aesthetic that feels both rustic and refined.

This is how we make a first impression. For Hideout Cafe in Bangalore, we designed an exterior that is open and inviting, giving passersby a clear view of the warm, nature-inspired ambiance waiting inside. The combination of modern signage, lush greenery, and a glimpse of the rustic interior lighting creates instant curb appeal.7
Stepping into the semi-outdoor seating area, we created a peaceful retreat. We used woven rattan pendant lights and light wood furniture to establish a warm, eco-elegant feel. The abundant greenery acts as a natural separator, offering guests a sense of privacy and calm.
For this project, we brought nature indoors in a big way. The central tree serves as a stunning focal point, creating a serene atmosphere throughout the cafe. We designed the layout to ensure that no matter where you sit, you have a connection to the outdoors, enhanced by the large window flooding the space with natural light.
This top-down view showcases our approach to space planning and creating a functional customer flow. We designed distinct seating zones around the central tree, including intimate tables for two and larger arrangements, ensuring the layout is both visually interesting and practical for a busy cafe.
