About Sacred Mandir Designs
When we design your mandir, we prioritize function alongside the look. I use an acrylic solid surface—often called a Korean top—for the main platform. It is completely oil and ghee resistant, so you don't have to worry about those stubborn stains ruining your beautiful new prayer unit over time.
Making Your Mandir Practical
Many of my clients in Thane and Mumbai come to me with the same problem. They want a beautiful, divine space, but they worry about maintenance. My design approach solves this with a few standard practices:
- Easy Cleaning: Beyond the oil-resistant acrylic surface, I integrate soft-close telescopic channels in your drawers. This keeps your incense sticks, cotton wicks, and oil bottles organized and dust-free.
- Lighting that Matters: Instead of generic bulbs, I use warm white LED strips behind the CNC Jali panels. This creates a soft halo effect that looks divine in the evenings. For the ceiling of the unit, I add a recessed COB downlighter to make sure you have enough light for your daily rituals.
- Smart Space Utilization: If you live in a compact 2BHK, you don't need to sacrifice floor space. I specialize in wall-mounted units that include hidden storage, giving you a clean, clutter-free prayer corner without eating into your living room area.

I use 18mm boiling water-resistant plywood for the core, ensuring durability against Mumbai's humidity.
