About Men's Grooming
On set, the goal is invisible perfection. My focus is on corrective techniques that manage shine and even out skin tone without looking heavy, ensuring your talent stays camera-ready under bright studio lights. I prioritize consistency across long shifts, keeping a close eye on continuity so that every frame from the first take to the last looks exactly as it should.
For commercial, editorial, and fashion projects, men's grooming is a technical discipline. Whether we are shooting a high-volume e-commerce campaign for a brand like Westside or a creative TVC for Birla Opus, the objective remains the same: creating a look that is natural, masculine, and flawlessly suited to the lens.
The Technical Approach
My work ranges from completely undetectable corrective makeup to stylized editorial grooming. For natural campaigns, I use precise color correction to neutralize redness, dark circles, or razor burn while maintaining a matte texture that prevents oiliness under hot studio lighting. When the brief calls for drama, I am comfortable working with bolder elements, such as defined kohl-rimmed eyes or structured hair styling, ensuring the makeup density is perfectly balanced for the specific camera setup.
Efficiency on Set
Production environments move fast. I am accustomed to the pace of 12-hour shifts and large-scale TVC shoots where consistency is the biggest challenge. I manage continuity throughout the day, monitoring the talent for smudges, flyaways, or shine between every take. This proactive maintenance allows the production team and the talent to focus entirely on the performance rather than the preparation.
Collaboration
I believe great work is a product of team alignment. Before we start, I often coordinate with the DOP and stylist to understand the lighting direction and wardrobe vibe. This ensures that the grooming doesn't just look good in the chair, but translates correctly to the screen, providing a cohesive final output that matches your brand identity.
