I’m Riya, and makeup for me is all about teamwork and telling a story. I work mainly out of Mumbai but end up everywhere shoots take me. Every project is a fresh canvas - some days, it’s all about a subtle no-makeup skin finish for an ad, other times it’s a bold look for a fashion drop. Depends on the vision, honestly.

What I Do

• Commercials, editorials, fashion, and e-commerce shoots - I’ve handled all sorts.
• Love the switch between minimal, barely-there looks and full-on glam (or as I call it, #glamxriya).
• Dewy editorial makeup? That’s my jam, especially for beauty features.
• On men’s grooming too - from clean, natural looks to kohl-dramatic eyes, whatever the campaign needs.

Nykaa, Lakmé, L'Oréal Paris, Pepe Jeans, Westside, Shoppers Stop, and more. Sometimes jewellery, sometimes sneakers, always something new.

My Process

Shoots are always fast-paced, so I keep things flexible and chill. I customise every look for the face and vibe of the shoot, making sure everything matches what the team wants. I’m big on collaboration - sab milke karte hai (we do it together) - and I’ll always try to keep things smooth and on time.
