Creative & Themed Makeup Looks
Exploring artistic expressions, from moody Halloween concepts to graphic editorial eyes. Here is my portfolio of creative and themed work for campaigns and personal shoots.
A Wednesday Addams inspired look for an OPI Halloween campaign. I created the braided pigtails and dark, moody makeup, while a collaborator handled the special effects on the hand.
A witch-themed look for OPI's Halloween promotion. I created a dramatic, black smokey eye and styled the hair to fit the spooky, magical concept.
A "glam ghost" concept for OPI. This look involved creating a pale, ethereal base with a soft, smokey eye and pairing it with a classic white saree for a spooky yet elegant feel.
A behind-the-scenes video of me creating a glossy, editorial eye look. This is a great technique for adding a high-fashion, wet-look texture to makeup.
A self-makeup look where I played with a graphic green glitter eyeliner. It's a fun way to add a pop of color and sparkle to an otherwise simple look.
A dewy, glowing self-makeup look. I love creating this kind of radiant, healthy-skin finish, and here I've listed the key products I used to achieve it.
A matte makeup look I did on myself. This demonstrates a different texture, focusing on a flawless, shine-free finish with a soft, blended eyeshadow.
Hair styling for a Nykaa Swatch Party video. I created simple, chic hairstyles for both models to complement the fun and fresh vibe of the Fenty Beauty lip gloss launch.
A minimal makeup look for a Nykaa Fashion shoot. The focus is on clean skin, a simple winged liner, and a bright smile, perfect for showcasing ethnic wear.
Another shot from the Nykaa Fashion series, showing a simple and elegant makeup look. This style is versatile and works beautifully for e-commerce.
About Creative & Themed Looks
When I work on creative shoots, the makeup needs to tell a specific story without losing its finish. For themed looks like my OPI Halloween concepts, I focus on balancing intense, pigment-heavy application with the durability required for long shoot days. You are not just getting an aesthetic; you are getting a look that holds up under studio lighting, whether it is glossy eyelids or special effects textures.
Creative makeup is where I push boundaries. My approach for themed campaigns differs significantly from standard commercial work. Instead of just making a subject look pretty, the focus shifts to texture, color theory, and character development.
I treat these sessions like a collaboration. Whether it is a 'glam ghost' look with ethereal skin or sharp, graphic eyeliner for a trend-led beauty editorial, the technique changes. For heavy editorial styles, I use premium products like Natasha Denona or Dior to ensure the pigment is true to the lens.
On set, I monitor the screen constantly. If we are doing wet-look glossy eyelids or avant-garde eyeliner, I ensure the shine does not bleed and the lines remain crisp. This is essential for macro, high-definition beauty shots. I firmly believe in the 'sab milke karte hai' (we do it together) philosophy. These looks are rarely solo efforts; I work closely with photographers and stylists to match the makeup density to the lighting and the specific narrative of the shoot.
