On set, every minute counts. Whether we are transitioning from a morning editorial look to a high-energy evening campaign, I maintain continuity by monitoring skin texture and hair volume between every take. My kit is always set up for rapid 15-minute look modifications so the crew never stops moving.
My process relies on clear communication with the director and the photographer. When working on commercial shoots for brands like Superkicks or Westside, we often deal with high-volume outfit changes. I handle this by keeping my kit organised for rapid touch-ups, ensuring skin remains matte and hair stays structured throughout a 12-hour day.
For high-definition video and macro photography, I prioritize skin preparation using premium serums and massage techniques to achieve a natural, glass-skin finish that requires minimal retouching. Whether it is corrective grooming for male models or dramatic, creative makeup for fashion lookbooks, I focus on the technical details that hold up under strong studio lighting. Collaboration is the foundation of my work, and I rely on my assistants to maintain continuity when we have long shooting schedules.
