About Perfectly Paired: Coordinated Couple Looks
True coordination is not about wearing the exact same color. It is about balance—finding complementary fabric textures, embroidery motifs that speak to each other, and silhouettes that sit well together. I sit down with both of you to sketch these details, ensuring your outfits feel like a single, unified story rather than two separate costumes.
Designing Your Shared Look
When you come to my studio in Sadashivnagar, the first thing we do is talk about your events. Whether it is a traditional ceremony or a cocktail night, I help you find the common thread between your styles.
We look at your color palette, the fabrics that suit the season, and the specific hand-embroidery details—like Zardosi or fine threadwork—that can tie your outfits together. If you want subtle hints, we can match the lining of your jacket to the embroidery on your partner's saree. If you want a bold statement, we can work with matching velvet tones or silk textures to create that 'power couple' look.
How We Work Together
- The Initial Sketch: We start by discussing the mood of each wedding function. We bring your vision to life on paper before we even touch the fabric.
- Fabric Selection: We choose premium materials like Raw Silk or high-GSM Velvet, making sure the colors complement each other perfectly in photographs.
- Fitting Sessions: I include mandatory trials (muslin and final fit) to ensure the outfits are not just stylish, but perfectly comfortable for you to dance and walk in all day.
Common Questions
Do we have to visit the studio for consultations? Yes, for custom work, I prefer you drop by the Sadashivnagar studio. It helps us see exactly how the colors look against your skin tone and how the fabrics drape together.
What is the production timeline? Each piece is made from scratch. Please plan for 15-20 days so we have enough time for trials and those tiny, perfect hand-stitched details.
