Our sessions are more than just boxing. We integrate strength building exercises like lunges to create a full body workout that improves power, endurance, and provides practical self defense skills.
Personal attention is key, no matter your age. I work closely with each member, like this young boxer practicing his combinations on the focus mitts, to ensure they develop solid technique.
If you're bored of the usual gym routine, we've got you covered. Our workouts include a variety of dynamic exercises like jumping jacks, dumbbell presses, and push-ups to keep things fresh and challenging.
About What to Expect in a Session
You won’t get lost in a crowd here because our boxing batches are strictly capped at 4 to 5 people. This means I can watch your stance and fix your form in real-time. You aren't just flailing at a heavy bag; you are learning how to punch properly while building core strength in a supportive setting.
How Our Sessions Are Structured
We keep things moving so you never get bored. Every 60-minute session is split into three distinct blocks to give you a full-body workout:
- 20 Minutes of Technique: We start with the basics. You will learn the right stance, footwork, and how to throw proper jabs, crosses, and hooks.
- 20 Minutes of Cardio: This is where we pick up the pace with shadow boxing and battle ropes. It gets your heart rate up and helps with endurance.
- 20 Minutes of Strength: We wrap up with functional movements like push-ups, planks, and dumbbell work to ensure you leave stronger than you arrived.
Why Boxing at Relive Fitness?
If you have never wrapped your hands before, that is perfectly fine. Most of our members walk in with zero experience. We are not a serious fight club, and we definitely do not do the 'tough guy' act. We are a group of regular people—teens, adults, and grandparents—who want to get a great workout and have a good time doing it.
The Gear and The Vibe
We have all the equipment you need, including focus mitts, speed ladders, and heavy bags. We have wooden flooring for safety and mirrors so you can see your own form. Sometimes, when the weather is good, we take our sessions outdoors to the paved areas around Emaar Palm Hills for a fresh-air drill or tire flips to break the indoor routine.
It is about making workouts something you actually want to show up for. If you feel stuck, the crew here is always ready to cheer you on.
