About this collection
We do not do generic gym routines here. If you are coming to us for postpartum recovery, we start by checking your core engagement and breath mechanics before you ever touch a reformer. We focus on healing diastasis recti and rebuilding pelvic floor strength using low-impact, deep-core exercises, ensuring you feel steady and capable before turning up the intensity.
Pregnancy and the postpartum phase are massive transitions that often leave women feeling disconnected from their bodies. At RedMat, our prenatal and postnatal Pilates classes are built on a simple promise: we listen to your body first.
During pregnancy, we emphasize maintaining mobility, reducing back pain, and preparing for labor with safe mat and prop-based work. Postpartum is where our specific approach helps most. We avoid high-impact jumping and aggressive crunches that can worsen postpartum issues. Instead, we use the Reformer, Stability Chair, and mat work to safely reconnect you with your transverse abdominals.
