We believe architecture starts with understanding the land. Explore our studio culture, our community-driven 'Reading Series,' and the design philosophy that shapes every project in Namma Bengaluru.

Hosting our "Reading Series," an event where we invite fellow creatives to share their knowledge. It's a vital part of my process to foster dialogue and build a community around design thinking.

A snapshot from a presentation during our Reading Series. These events are about encouraging our team and our community to travel more, observe more, and sketch.

A memento from our "Reading Ruins" talk. My interest in ancient ruins informs my modern work, teaching me about spatial quality and how structures endure over time.

These cards from our "Reading Series" capture the essence of our studio's academic and artistic approach. Each event is a deep dive into a specific design topic.

A view of our studio during a presentation. The space itself is designed to be open and collaborative, reflecting the way we work.

Another moment from our studio's knowledge-sharing sessions. I believe in continuous learning and creating a motivational environment for my team.

A simple, poetic moment where light from an oculus projects the shadow of a Plumeria plant. For me, design is about capturing these small, beautiful interactions between light, nature, and form.

A close-up of a garden path after the monsoon. The lush ornamental grasses and elephant ears show how a well-chosen plant palette can create a rich, textured softscape.

A minimalist courtyard where plants emerge directly from the tiled floor. This detail illustrates my goal of blurring the lines between interior and exterior, making the garden an integral part of the living space.

About The Reading Grounds Studio: Our Philosophy & People

When you choose to work with us, you are not just getting a floor plan. We start every project by reading the grounds—studying sun paths, wind direction, and existing vegetation to ensure your home breathes. This site-specific research defines our initial design phase, so before we draw a single line, we know exactly how to orient your building to capture light, reduce heat, and create natural, cross-ventilated spaces.
