About Behind the Scenes
Parents often worry about how to keep their babies calm and happy during a shoot. In my studio, I prioritize rhythm over speed. If your little one needs a feed, a nap, or just a few extra cuddles to settle into a new environment, we stop and wait. I work around their comfort, not a ticking clock, which is how we get those relaxed, natural expressions without the pressure of a rush.
When you walk into my Andheri or Thane studio, the goal is to make the experience feel less like a formal appointment and more like a relaxed playdate. You might notice in the videos that I keep the environment quiet and controlled. This helps babies feel safe enough to let their personalities come through.
How I Structure a Session
- The Setup: Before you arrive, I prepare the lighting and backdrops based on the theme we discussed. Whether it is a soft, neutral newborn setup or a vibrant birthday cake smash, everything is ready so we can focus on your child the moment they walk in.
- The Pace: I build buffer time into every session. If a child takes time to warm up to the camera, that is perfectly fine. I have plenty of tricks to make them laugh, from peek-a-boo games to simple singing, but I never force a pose. Authenticity is the only thing that matters.
- Family Inclusion: I encourage parents to get involved. The best shots usually happen when you are interacting with your little one, whether you are helping them sit for a milestone portrait or holding them during a family shot. You do not need to be a professional model to look great in these photos. Your natural love for your family is what makes the image beautiful.
Everything you see here, from the props to the outfits, is designed to keep things simple for you. My aim is to make the entire process easy, so you can just show up and enjoy the time with your family.
