About Creative & Themed Sessions
My studio sessions are fully styled, meaning you don't need to hunt for props or outfits. Whether it's a traditional pattu pavadai for Onam or a little Krishna costume, I have the wardrobe and props ready in my Andheri and Thane studios, so you just need to bring your child and their best mood.
Photography is about more than just the click of a shutter; it is about creating a space where your child feels comfortable enough to let their personality shine. When we plan a themed session, I take care of the entire visual direction—from the backdrop design and lighting to the specific props that make the theme authentic.
How We Create Your Theme
- Festive Traditions: I specialize in capturing the essence of Indian festivals. For Janmashtami, that means sourcing fresh peacock feathers and butter pots; for Onam, it involves brass urulis and traditional floral arrangements. You do not need to worry about sourcing these; I have them ready.
- Storybook Concepts: If you want a non-traditional theme like a Parisian café or a fairytale forest, I treat these as individual chapters in your child's story. We keep the setting whimsical but the expressions natural.
- Styling & Wardrobe: One of the most stressful parts of a photoshoot is finding the right outfit. My studio closet is stocked with curated costumes for babies and toddlers. If you have a specific vision, we discuss it before the shoot to ensure the colors and textures align with the setup.
Preparing for Your Session
These sessions are designed for ease. Since I manage the creative setup, your role is simply to ensure your child is well-rested and fed before arriving. I find that the best images happen when the kids are relaxed. Whether we are in my Andheri studio or the space in Thane, the focus remains on capturing that raw, joyful energy without the pressure of a rigid schedule.
