Sibling Love Photography
From curious first meetings to playful, shared giggles, I capture the raw, honest bond between brothers and sisters exactly as it happens.
The first meeting. This backlit shot beautifully captures an older brother's curiosity as he meets his new baby sibling for the first time.
The same moment in timeless black and white. This version emphasizes the emotion and the silhouette of their interaction.
A big brother's protective embrace. This tender moment of him holding his newborn sibling on a soft white rug is pure love.
About Sibling Love
I prioritize patience above everything. Siblings, especially toddlers, rarely sit still for perfectly posed shots, and that is exactly how it should be. We will skip the forced 'smile for the camera' routines and instead focus on getting them to interact—whether that is whispering secrets, playing tag, or sharing a quiet snuggle—so the photos show who they actually are together.
Why Candid Sibling Shoots Matter
The most beautiful photos often happen in the quiet spaces between the planned shots. When I photograph siblings, I am not looking for stiff poses. I am looking for the protective arm around a new baby, the giggles during a shared joke, and the genuine curiosity of an older brother meeting his sibling for the first time. These are the moments that define your family story.
How We Work Together
I offer sessions in my studios in Andheri and Thane, or we can head to an outdoor location if your kids are more comfortable running around in open spaces. For younger children, I keep the pace slow. We allow time for snacks, comfort breaks, or just wandering around the studio until they feel at ease with me and the camera.
Practical Tips for a Smooth Session
- Coordination, Not Matching: Choose outfits with a similar color palette rather than identical clothes. It feels more natural and timeless.
- The 'Third Wheel' Parent: Expect to be involved. Sometimes the best way to get a natural reaction between siblings is to have a parent whispering a story or playing a game just behind the camera.
- Timing: We schedule around their routine. A tired, hungry child is not going to want to play, so we aim for times when they are typically at their happiest.
My goal is for you to walk away with images that feel like a snapshot of your life right now, not a stiff portrait that feels disconnected from who your children are at this age.
