About Reception & Stage Design
I don't just put up a backdrop and walk away. For every reception stage, I personally coordinate the lighting and sound cues with the dry ice effects to make sure your first dance looks right. My team sets the stage hours before your guests arrive, so you aren't stressing about whether the floral wall is sturdy or if the music volume is balanced.
When you look at a reception stage photo, you see the flowers and the lights. What you don't see is the three hours my team spent rigging the truss or the precision required to sync the cold pyro sparklers with your walk to the stage. Whether you want a massive wall of fresh red roses or a budget-friendly setup with high-quality artificial blooms, my goal is to give you a stage that looks expensive without the headache of managing five different vendors.
How I Build Your Stage
- The Backdrop: We start with your vision. If you love fresh flowers, I source them fresh on the morning of the event. If you want a more architectural look, we use LED video walls or heavy sequin drapery with custom monograms.
- Lighting That Matters: I bring my own LED Par cans and focus lights. A beautiful stage looks dull if the lighting is flat, so I make sure the stage wash highlights the decor and the couple, not the floor.
- Grand Entries: The stage is the destination, but the entry is the show. I integrate dry ice, confetti, and cold fire to create the moment you walk in. My onsite manager handles the flow so your entry, music, and performance happen exactly when they are supposed to.
