About With Honoured Guests
Beyond just photographs, these interactions represent the recognition of my dedication to preserving our bharatiya aitihasik sanskriti (Indian historical culture). Whether it is the permanent installation of my portraits of Mahatma Phule and Savitribai Phule at the Mantralay or explaining mural projects to ministers, these moments validate the role of art in public and government spaces.
Art is not just creation, it is a bridge between our history and the public eye. I have been truly grateful to see my portraits of Krantisurya Mahatma Jotirao Phule and Dnyanjyoti Savitribai Phule permanently installed in the Ministry Hall in Mumbai. These works were unveiled by Hon. Chief Minister Shri Eknathji Shinde and Hon. Deputy Chief Minister Shri Devendraji Fadnavis. Such acknowledgments affirm the importance of realistic portraiture in keeping our heritage alive.
My work often extends into public art and community beautification. For instance, explaining the intricate details of our mural projects to Hon. Shri Girish Mahajan at the site of the Nashik highway beautification project was a deeply satisfying experience. It is not just about the painting, but about discussing the technique and the story behind every brushstroke with those who care about our city's aesthetic.
I also frequently exhibit my works in local and state-level art galleries. Interacting with esteemed actors like Shri Ajay Purkar or learning from veteran journalists like Shri Rajiv Khandekar at cultural lectures allows me to view my work through a different lens. These meetings are not just photo opportunities, they are exchanges of ideas, techniques, and respect for the arts that I carry back to my studio in Nashik.
