Modern Western Styling for Brands and Editorials
High-fashion impact meets commercial clarity. I handle your entire production, from the initial concept to the final shot, ensuring every outfit and set detail aligns with your brand identity.
This is a commercial video I styled for Pantaloons, showcasing the versatility of their collection. The quick transition from a floral dress to a matching co-ord set was directed to create a fun and engaging piece of content for their social media.
Part of a summer campaign for Urbanic, this shot captures a relaxed picnic scene. I styled this lilac floral dress with a simple straw hat and minimal jewelry to create a fresh, romantic, and commercially friendly image.
Another look from the Urbanic garden picnic campaign. I styled this blue floral dress, featuring a side slit and puff sleeves, with a wide-brimmed straw hat to create an effortlessly chic and summery vibe that resonates with their target audience.
This shot from the Urbanic campaign showcases a floral dress against a lush garden backdrop. The styling is light and cheerful, designed to highlight the dress's features like the puff sleeves and tie-front detail in a natural, appealing setting.
About Modern Western Styling
When we collaborate, I do not just style the looks. I manage the entire visual production—from sourcing accessories and props to directing the on-set mood. Whether you need a high-volume e-commerce catalog or a story-driven social media campaign, I ensure the styling, lighting, and model direction work in sync so you get a finished product that is ready to publish.
My approach to modern western styling is rooted in balancing creative vision with business outcomes. For a brand, a shoot is not just about the clothes; it is about how those clothes live in the customer’s mind.
My Production Process
- Conceptualization: I start by building a visual narrative. For projects with labels like Urbanic, this meant creating a romantic, garden-focused atmosphere that felt fresh and aspirational. For Pantaloons, the focus was on versatility and quick, engaging transitions for social media.
- Art Direction & Set Design: I handle the visual environment. This includes scouting locations that complement the collection's color palette, sourcing props that add texture without distracting from the garment, and lighting direction to highlight the fabric quality.
- On-Set Management: Fashion production is a team game. I coordinate the hair and makeup artists, photographer, and styling assistants to ensure the day runs efficiently. This keeps the shoot on schedule and ensures we capture all required angles for both digital catalogs and hero imagery.
Why Strategic Styling Matters
Great editorial styling is about more than aesthetics. It is about understanding the market. I focus on creating images that drive sales by ensuring the silhouettes, accessories, and styling choices feel contemporary and wearable. By managing the production end-to-end, I remove the logistical friction, allowing you to focus on the brand strategy while I ensure the visual output is consistent and high-quality.
