About The Making Of The Meal

At our Bandra kitchen, we do not believe in shortcuts. When you book us for an event, we start your order from scratch, which is why we require bookings at least a day in advance. We source fresh ingredients daily and use authentic slow-cooking methods to ensure that what reaches your table is not just heated up, but crafted specifically for your gathering.

Our Kitchen Standards

We operate on a simple rule: if we would not serve it to our own families, we will not serve it to yours. Our process begins with daily sourcing from local markets, avoiding any reliance on frozen or processed items. Whether it is our Mutton Nalli Nihari or our signature appetizer tarts, every component is prepared fresh in our kitchen.

Why We Require Pre-Orders

Because we do not use frozen stocks, we cannot offer instant, off-the-shelf service. Each order is a fresh commitment. When you book us, we allocate the necessary time for marination—often 12 to 24 hours—and slow-cooking. This lead time allows us to maintain the integrity of our flavors and ensure that the food is at its peak when it arrives at your event.

Authentic Techniques

We stick to traditional methods. Our chefs use 'dum' cooking for curries and manual preparation for our street-style chaats. When you see our team on-site at a venue in Mumbai, you are getting the same quality we produce in our base kitchen. Our team handles everything from the setup of equipment to the final plating, ensuring that the 'fresh-from-scratch' experience holds true regardless of whether we are catering for a small house party or a large corporate gathering.
