An Arangetram is more than a performance; it is a culmination of years of discipline. These snapshots capture the joy of a solo debut, the bonds we build as Guru and Sishya, and the beautiful beginnings of a lifelong dance journey.

A few cherished moments from Visakha's Arangetram, including the traditional act of seeking blessings and a portrait with her proud family and orchestra. It's a celebration for the entire family.

It brings me immense joy to see my students continue their dance journey long after their Arangetram. Here is Nikitha Vasudevan, who still stays in touch with her art while studying at the University of Pittsburgh.

An invitation to TM Deshnaa's Arangetram. At such a young age, her love for dance has brought her to this incredible milestone, and it is my honor to present her debut.

We cordially invite you to the Arangetram of Anandi Roy. These announcements are a formal invitation to friends, family, and the community to witness and bless the dancer's solo debut.

Congratulations to dear Esha on her wonderful achievement. This moment of presenting the certificate on stage is a formal recognition of her hard work and successful debut.

A special invitation to the Arangetram of a mother and her two daughters. It is incredibly inspiring to see family members share this beautiful journey of learning and performing together.

I had the honor of presenting Aahana in her Arangetram. A multi-talented 9th grader, she balanced her academics and her dance training beautifully. I wish her all the best.

Announcing the Arangetram of my students Sowndhariya and Arundhati in Coimbatore. We seek everyone's blessings to make this moment special for these two talented dancers.

A cordial invitation to the Arangetram of Aamuktha Keely. This marks a significant step in her life as a dancer, and we are honored to share this moment with our community.

An invitation to Nikita's Arangetram. We are in the final stages of preparation, and we invite you to be there to watch this young girl present her hard work on stage.

About Celebrating Our Dancers: Milestones & Memories

While the spotlight highlights the performance, the real work happens in the quiet hours of practice leading up to it. I prefer a paced approach where we focus on your specific strengths, whether you are balancing a full-time career or academic studies, ensuring you are truly stage-ready without the burnout.

The Arangetram is a sacred milestone, a traditional debut that marks a dancer's transition from student to performer. It is not just about mastering complex Nritta footwork or the emotional depth of Abhinaya; it is a test of stamina, discipline, and devotion. In my two decades of teaching, I have learned that no two journeys are the same. Some dancers find their grace quickly, while others need more time to find their rhythm, especially when juggling the pressures of school or corporate life in Bengaluru.

My approach to these milestones is deeply personalized. We do not use cookie-cutter choreography. Instead, we craft a Margam (repertoire) that highlights your natural expressive qualities and physical strengths. Whether it is refining your Araimandi for geometric precision or selecting the right music for your Thillana, my role is to guide you so that when you finally step onto the stage, you do so with complete confidence.

Beyond the performance, these gallery moments celebrate something I value even more: the enduring bond between Guru and Sishya. I am always moved to see students like Nikitha, who continued their dance practice long after their Arangetram, or families who embark on this training together. This is not the end of your dance journey—it is the true beginning. If you are preparing for your debut in Bengaluru, I invite you to start a conversation with me. We will talk about your goals, your current skill level, and how we can work together to make your Arangetram a reflection of your true self.

I am Preetha, and I have had the privilege of guiding over 67 dancers through their Arangetram. I treat every student as a unique individual, never rushing the process, because I believe dance is a long-term commitment that should bring joy, not stress.
