Additional Landscape & Travel Photography
A curation of travels, quiet moments, and perspectives from my archives that define my journey as an artist.
A view of the famous houseboats of Srinagar on a misty day. I hope to return to Kashmir in a different season to capture another perspective of this beautiful region.
The iconic Shikara boats of Dal Lake in Srinagar, captured at night. The long exposure blurs the boats slightly, conveying motion against the beautifully lit houseboats in the background.
A sunflower field at the base of Gopalaswamy Betta. This view shows the vibrant agricultural landscape that surrounds the well-known hill temple.
A vertical composition of a rocky sunset, where the warm light on the horizon contrasts with the cool tones of the sky.
Another view of Shirley Falls, this time with a vertical composition. This image is part of my reflection on the craft of photography in the age of AI.
A minimalist long exposure of a rock on a sandy beach at sunset. The image is about the simple beauty of color, light, and texture.
A long exposure of a sunset at Padubidri beach, with the poem by ChatGPT reflecting on the calm and delight of coastal life.
A duplicate of image 57, showing a beautiful winter sunset over a coastal inlet in Udupi, with palm trees and a small recreational area.
A vertical shot of Shirley Falls, used to discuss the difference between an artist's impression and an AI-generated image.
A duplicate of image 62, capturing the silhouette of a person walking along the beach under a stunningly colorful sunset.
About Additional Work
These images are the pieces that did not fit into my specific thematic galleries, but they are no less important to my body of work. Each frame represents a moment when the light was just right or the landscape demanded to be captured, whether I was trekking through the Western Ghats or revisiting the lakes of old Bangalore from a decade ago. It is a glimpse into my unfiltered archive.
Photography, for me, is about collecting stories rather than just seeking validation on social media. While my other galleries are neatly categorized by technique or subject, this collection houses the outliers. It includes everything from the misty waterfalls of the Western Ghats to aerial perspectives of historical sites like Dholavira in Gujarat.
You will find long exposure studies, candid travel captures, and reflective shots of city spaces that have changed over the last ten years. I do not just point and shoot. Every image here is processed to reflect the genuine mood of the location, using my own workflow in Lightroom and Photoshop to preserve the natural textures and lighting. Whether you are looking for a fine art print for your home or simply browsing for inspiration, this collection offers a raw look at my travels across the country. I shoot to preserve the essence of a landscape, not to follow a trend. If a particular image resonates with you, I can prepare it as a high-quality print on archival cotton rag paper, ensuring it stands the test of time.
