A collection of my travels and the quiet, unscripted moments found outside the usual frame.

A young boy reaches for the side of a yellow school bus on a dusty road in Rajasthan. This is a simple, candid moment from my travels through the state.

The color version of the elderly man with the flowing cloth in Varanasi. The blue of the sky and the green tint of the fabric add a different, more gentle dimension to the image.

A sadhu in orange robes sits meditating against a modern building in Varanasi. The vibrant colors contrast with the stark geometry of the architecture.

The color version of the sadhu with the snake staff. The blue sky and the earthy tones of his robes and the surroundings bring the scene to life.

A color photograph of an elderly man lifting weights at an outdoor gym by the river. The warm sunlight and natural setting provide a beautiful backdrop for his workout.

The color version of the gymnast at the outdoor gym. The red of the pull-up bar and the golden light of the sun add vibrancy to this display of strength.

A weathered door on a decaying wall in a sandy courtyard in Rajasthan. This minimalist shot captures the beauty in texture, decay, and the stories old buildings tell.

A young man performs an exercise at an outdoor gym by the river in Delhi. This image captures the raw, physical culture of traditional Indian wrestling and bodybuilding (Kushti).

Men training at a traditional 'akhada' or outdoor gym. The scene shows various forms of exercise, from lifting weights to using traditional wooden clubs (mudgar).

A wrestler looks at his reflection in a mirror propped against a wall at an outdoor gym. The golden hour light and the subject's pose create a moment of introspection and pride.

About Additional Work & Travels

My work outside of standard sessions is where I truly test my gear and patience. Whether I am navigating the alleys of Old Delhi or walking the ghats in Varanasi, I rely on my Fujifilm X series cameras to capture these fleeting, unscripted moments without intrusive lighting or staging.

I do not set up scenes. I wait for the light to hit a subject just right or for a story to unfold naturally on the street. In my recent travels through Rajasthan and the ghats of Varanasi, I focused on textures, decay, and the timeless rituals of daily life. This cluster showcases those explorations. You will see my work with traditional wrestlers at the akhada in Delhi, where the dust and golden hour light create a raw, cinematic quality, as well as candid frames from local markets. If you are looking for a photographer who understands how to blend into a scene and capture it as it is, rather than orchestrating it, my documentary style fits that need. I treat every assignment, whether it is a small travel project or a long-term documentation series, with the same intent: to tell a story that feels honest and grounded in the reality of the people and places I photograph.
