Medals are not won on the day of the match; they are won in the dojang through discipline and repetition. See how my students prepare for state and national championship circuits.

A proud moment as my student, Anagd R Jha, receives his Gold Medal at the ISSO National Games. This victory is a direct qualification for the prestigious SGFI National Games, a testament to his elite performance.

Celebrating a national victory. My student stands at the top of the podium after winning gold at the ISSO National Games. We train for these moments, focusing on the mindset and strategy required for high-level competition.

Congratulations to my student Sadiq Ahmed for winning the Gold Medal at the CISCE National Sports and Games zonal level. His dedication in training paid off, showcasing excellent technique and competitive spirit.

Our academy had a fantastic showing at the Borivali Khel Mahotsav Taekwondo championship, securing 4 Gold, 2 Silver, and 5 Bronze medals. It's a proud moment to see so many of my athletes on the podium.

Another successful championship in the books. Here I am with my team, celebrating our performance and receiving a team trophy. Every win is a team effort built on shared discipline and hard work.

From a state senior championship event. The first frame shows the scale of the competition, and the second shows our team being recognized. Competing at this level builds invaluable experience for my athletes.

Receiving an award at the 8th Open State Taekwondo Championship. I believe a coach's growth is as important as the students', and I am always active in the competitive community.

Moments from a district Taekwondo championship. I was there to coach my students through their matches and was honored to be recognized for my contributions at the event.

This is the reality of a competitive match. One of my senior athletes is engaged in a tough Kyorugi fight, ending with a decisive point. We train to stay calm and execute techniques under pressure.

A glimpse of a senior-level championship match. Notice the referee's positioning and the fighters' stances. Understanding the complete environment of a tournament is a key part of my coaching.

About Tournament Success & Achievements

Tournament play is different from standard gym practice. In the dojang, you work on technique; in the ring, you have to read the referee and manage your adrenaline. I teach my students to analyze an opponent's guard and score points under pressure, which is exactly why our academy consistently brings back gold medals from the ISSO National Games and Maharashtra state circuits.

Training for the Podium

Winning at the district or national level requires more than raw strength. It requires a shift in mindset. When I train a student for a championship—whether it is a Poomsae form or Kyorugi sparring—we focus on the environment of the tournament floor.

We practice in the same high-pressure scenarios you will face in the ring. You have to understand referee ki soch (the referee's mindset). If you do not know how the scoring criteria are applied in that specific event, your kicks will not count, no matter how fast they are. We break down the World Taekwondo rules and ensure every strike is executed within the legal scoring zone.

The Curriculum of a Champion

My approach to tournament prep is built on three pillars:

  • Mental Conditioning: You have to stay sharp, especially when tired. We train to suppress panic. When the opponent grabs you, ghabrana nahi hai (do not panic). We drill reaction times so your counter-attack becomes muscle memory.
  • Physical Peak: Speed and stamina are non-negotiable. Using agility ladders and resistance drills, I push students to a level where they can execute explosive techniques even in the final seconds of a third round.
  • Strategic Sparring: We do not just fight; we spar with a plan. We analyze your opponent's footwork and find openings in their guard.

Whether you are aiming for the Borivali Khel Mahotsav or looking to qualify for the SGFI Nationals, the training is rigorous. Expect to hear plenty of 'Hana! Dul! Set!' as we drill the fundamentals until they are perfect. This is not for everyone, but if you are ready to work, I will get you to the podium.
