Motherhood Portraits in Nature's Embrace

Step into the wild for a portrait session that captures the quiet, unscripted beauty of your motherhood journey.

In the rolling tea gardens of Munnar, I captured this beautiful moment between Nina and her daughter Tara. Outdoor shoots allow us to use stunning landscapes as the canvas for your family's story.

Photographing actress Shriya Saran with her daughter Radha was a beautiful reminder of the power of working mothers. This outdoor session was filled with genuine moments of connection and joy.

The bond between a mother and daughter is a story I never tire of telling. Here, Jordana and her little girl share a quiet moment, a simple look back that holds so much love.

For mothers of infants, every moment is precious. This outdoor portrait captures that fleeting stage, the gentle hold and the sweet smiles, creating a memory to hold onto long after they've outgrown your arms.

"If evolution really works, how come mothers only have two hands?" This quote always makes me smile. This portrait of Aarti with her children captures the beautiful, loving chaos of motherhood.

A mother's joy begins with that first tiny heartbeat. Here, Keertana and her baby share a moment of pure happiness by the water, a perfect example of the beautiful new life that motherhood brings.

As children grow, the nature of the mother-child bond changes. This portrait with a horse captures a moment of shared adventure and quiet understanding between a mother and her school-aged child.

About this collection

We schedule these outdoor sessions exclusively around sunrise or sunset to catch that specific rim-light glow. Since we'll be in natural settings like meadows or wooded paths, please come prepared for a little bit of walking and the occasional muddy hemline, as this is where the most candid, unfiltered moments between you and your children tend to happen.

My approach to outdoor motherhood photography is rooted in the belief that nature is the perfect mirror for the chaos and comfort of raising children. Unlike studio work, which relies on controlled, painterly light, these sessions are about rhythm, movement, and the unpredictable joy of the outdoors.

Why Choose an Outdoor Session?

If you find beauty in the wind-swept hair, the running, the laughter, and the quiet moments of connection hidden in a field of flowers, this is for you. We don't chase perfect poses. Instead, we hunt for the feeling. Whether it is a quiet cuddle in a forest clearing or a joyful piggyback ride, my goal is to document the tangible bond you share.

The Process & Deliverables

  • Golden Hour Timing: I scout locations across Bangalore's outskirts to find spots that offer the softest, most flattering light. Sessions are strictly timed to ensure we get that dreamlike, warm aesthetic.
  • The Artistic Edit: You will receive 15 to 18 high-resolution images. Please note that I do not provide raw files. My work is not finished until I have applied my signature warm-toned, soft-highlight editing to every single frame. This is part of the art I promise to deliver.
  • Preparation: I provide guidance on textures and colors, but the rest is up to you. I encourage wearing clothes that allow for movement—because you will be moving. Let's embrace the dirt, the elements, and the messy, beautiful reality of your family story.

I’m Sinjita. I started out chasing sunrise shots in freezing water, but today, I’m chasing the stories of mothers like you. I believe the messy, quiet moments—the ones you think no one sees—are the ones worth framing.
