Poetic maternity portraits for your growing family
Before your world changes, let us capture the quiet anticipation. I create timeless, vintage-inspired maternity photography that feels like a poem written just for you.
A maternity session is even more special when there's a soon-to-be big brother involved. His playful peek from behind his mother adds a touch of joy and reality to this beautiful moment of anticipation.
This studio maternity portrait captures the sweet bond between a mother and her son as they await a new arrival. The protective hug and gentle expression tell a story of love and excitement.
This painterly portrait of a mother nursing her baby is a tribute to the beautiful, intimate bond of early motherhood. It's a quiet, powerful moment that I was honored to document.
A family portrait that is also a maternity announcement. The way the little one looks on, with his parents expecting another, tells a story of a family on the cusp of a new chapter.
A first birthday is a huge milestone. This studio setup with teddy bears and a vintage feel is a perfect way to celebrate one whole year of joy with your little one.
This storybook maternity portrait captures the playful relationship between a mother and her son. His cheeky grin as he reaches for the vegetables she holds tells a story unique to their family.
A baby's first Christmas is pure magic. This little elf, with his bright eyes and happy smile, perfectly captures the joy and wonder of the holiday season for a new family.
About this collection
I do not just take photos; I help you plan a scene. We will discuss textures like velvet, deep colors, and specific storybook props during our pre-shoot consultation. Whether it is the controlled, dramatic light of my Whitefield studio or the soft golden hour outdoors, I want to craft portraits that feel like classic paintings.
When you book a maternity session with me, you are not just showing up for snapshots. You are stepping into a collaboration. My approach is intentionally slow and vintage-inspired. I steer away from standard poses, preferring to guide you into compositions that feel organic and meaningful.
For studio sessions at my Palm Meadows space in Whitefield, we play with Rembrandt-style lighting to create deep, moody, and painterly results. If you prefer the outdoors, I look for quiet Bangalore outskirts where we can chase the golden hour. I bring my own collection of props, from antique suitcases to storybook elements, to add that extra layer of texture.
A note on the process: I am a firm believer in the finished art. I do not deliver RAW or unedited files because, to me, the magic happens during the editing phase. I invest hours into hand-painting and color-grading each image to ensure it matches the vision we discussed. You will receive a gallery of high-resolution digital portraits, ready to be printed and kept as heirlooms. Whether it is your first baby or you are adding another sibling to the mix, I want these images to be the ones you look back on decades from now, remembering not just how you looked, but how you felt.
