Motherhood and Family Portrait Photography
Beautiful portraits that celebrate the unique bond between you and your child, captured with natural light and absolutely no forced posing.
A sweet outdoor portrait of a mother making a kissy face at her baby. We focus on capturing these simple, loving gestures that beautifully illustrate the mother-daughter bond.
A creative and playful portrait of a mother and child seen through a circular window. We love using architectural elements to frame our subjects and add a unique, artistic touch to your family photos.
A warm studio portrait of a daughter giving her mother a heartfelt hug. Even with a simple backdrop, the love and connection between them is the focus of the image.
A mother gently holding her baby in the soft afternoon light. This portrait captures the tenderness and serenity of early motherhood in a natural, outdoor setting.
A child captured in a moment of quiet play, sitting in a circular window. This image is part of a series that shows how we can find beautiful, creative shots even in simple settings.
About Motherhood & Me
Whether we are in the studio or out in the Bangalore sunlight, my approach remains the same. I do not believe in forced smiles or stiff posing. Instead, I wait for those genuine interactions between you and your child, ensuring we capture the real, messy, and beautiful connection that actually feels like you.
There is a specific kind of magic in the way a child reaches for their mother or the quiet comfort of a shared hug. These are the moments I look for, rather than just lining everyone up for a standard portrait.
Choosing your setting I offer two distinct ways to capture these family portraits. If you prefer a clean, timeless look, we can book a session at The Studio 5ive in Jayanagar. It is fully climate-controlled, making it an excellent choice for newborns or toddlers who might need a quiet, comfortable space to settle in. For families who prefer movement, we can head outdoors to spots like Cubbon Park or Lalbagh during the golden hour, using the soft natural light to highlight your expressions.
My approach to motherhood sessions I use Canon RF lenses to get that soft, cinematic background blur that makes the subject pop, but the gear is just a tool. The real work happens in the patience I bring to the shoot. If your child is shy, moody, or just wants to run around, that is perfectly fine. I do not rush these photo sessions. We play, we wait for the right light, and we let the children dictate the pace. By the end of our time together, you will have a digital gallery that shows your relationship exactly as it is today, not as a stiffly staged version of it.
